Welcome to the Mt. Morris Schools!

We are thrilled to have you visit our Website. It is our goal to provide you with up-to-date information and resources at your fingertips.

The Mt. Morris School District educates approximately 3,700 students each year. It is composed of three kindergarten through third grade buildings, a middle school for grades 4-6, a junior high school for grades 7-8, and two high schools, E. A. Johnson and Mt. Morris Alternative Education, each house grades 9-12. We also offer day and evening classes for high school students to earn credits toward graduation.

We pride ourselves in putting children first, meeting academic, social and emotional needs and graduating successful young adults.

We offer a large variety of extra curricular activities from the arts to athletics in all grades. We offer programs for the academically gifted as well as those needing remediation.

We are here for you and your child. Please take time to learn more about our wonderful school district. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the individuals listed or myself.

Again, thanks for your visit.

Sincerely,

Lisa Hagel
