Mr. Davis has been teaching band in Mt. Morris since 2006. He began his collegiate career at Grand Valley State University as a trumpet player studying music education emphasizing in music performance. While there Mr. Davis performed with the top instrumental ensembles including the GVSU Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Hyensui Lee, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble conducted by Professor Barry Martin, the GVSU Jazz Ensemble directed by Dr. Kurt Ellenberger, and the Trumpet Ensemble taught by Professor Richard Stoezel. Mr. Davis was also a section leader in the University Arts Chorale and a soloist in the Men's choir, Varsity Men. Mr. Davis served as president of the GVSU chapter of the Collegiate Music Education National Conference.

Mr. Davis transfered to CMU where he finished his music education degree studying voice.

Mr. Davis was an administrator for the summer camp at Interlochen Fine Arts Camp after performing there for 3 summers as a student.

Mr. Davis is currently the director of the jazz band, the athletic bands, the marching band, the concert band, the Jr. High bands, the Vocal Ensemble, and the high school musical in Mt. Morris.

Mr. Davis is married to Kymberlie Ann Davis, the K-5 general music teacher at Sherwood Elementary School in the Saginaw Township district.
