ParentWeb

 

General Information

 

ParentWeb is an Internet module that interfaces with our student database system.  As soon as your student’s data is updated in our database system, you will be able to see the change in ParentWeb.  ParentWeb uses the same Internet security utilized by banks and other financial institutions world-wide.

 

Initial Login Screen:  The student ID number from our database is required to access that student’s information.  If the student ID begins with zeros, those zeros must be entered into the ID number box.  This was provided in a letter that was sent home to parents.

 

Password:  You have been given your student’s password to the system.  It is the last four digits of your student’s social security number and was also included in the letter you received. 

 

Note:  If you have lost or misplaced either number, please contact the building secretary at the building your student attends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The ParentWeb Window

 

Information about Available Links to student information:

 

Note:  If your student has NO information in a particular section that link will not display. 

 

Basics:  This screen displays student demographic information, as well as information about the student’s contacts.  Changes to this information must be made by notifying your student’s school office.

 

Attendance:  Attendance is posted on a daily basis by classroom teachers.  Substitute teachers DO NOT post attendance.  Therefore, if your student had a substitute teacher, attendance for that class is usually not available till the following day.

 

When viewing your student’s attendance, keep these points in mine:

  • Any attendance entries that are colored RED indicate an unexcused absence.  Tardies are considered ‘unexcused’.
  • There are several views available for attendance.  To change, click on the option at the top of the page.

 

Schedule:  The student’s current schedule is available through this link.  Previous year’s schedules may be viewed by scrolling to the bottom and clicking on appropriate year.

 

Report Card:  This area provides Report Card information.  You may obtain Report Cards from previous years by scrolling to the bottom of the page.

 

Progress:  This button allows you to view Progress Reports.  By scrolling to the bottom of the page, you can view previous year’s reports as well.

 

History:  This screen shows the login history of the student’s account.  (Hint:  This screen can be used to verify no one else has accessed your student’s information.)

 

Logout:  Use this link to “log off” the ParentWeb system.

 

Helpful Hint:  On any screen that displays a blue underlined teacher name, you can click on that name and send an email to the teacher.
