McKinney-Vento (Homeless)

 
If your family lives in any of the following situations:
1) In a shelter, motel, vehicle, or campground
2) On the street
3) In an abandoned building, trailer or other inadequate accommodations
4) Doubled up friends or relatives because you cannot find or afford housing
 
And, it is not considered:
1) Fixed
2) Adequate
3) Regular
 
Then your pre-school aged and school aged child(ren) may have certain rights or protections under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act.
