English Learners

 

Mt. Morris is proud to serve families from around the world with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.  We have had students from nearly every continent attending our schools.  Many come to us speaking little to no English, whereas others come with more advanced skills.  Services are offered to all English Learners of all levels in coordination with the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD).  By providing and coordinating access to professional development, instruction materials, and teacher best practices, our staff is better equipped to meet each student's individuals needs in learning the English Language and American Culture while mastering core subject areas in education.  The purpose of this website is to provide parents, students, teachers, and tutors with resources found on the right side of this page. 

 

All students and their families enrich our community!  We are happy that they have chosen Mt. Morris for their children to grow with us and for allowing us to serve them.
